Hygrophila corymbosa ‘Compacta’ หรือที่เรียกกันว่า “ไฮโกรคอมแพคต้า” เป็นพันธุ์แคระของ Hygrophila ที่มีลักษณะใบหนา สีเขียวเข้ม และขึ้นเป็นพุ่มเตี้ยสวยงาม นิยมปลูกบริเวณกลางตู้หรือด้านหน้าสำหรับตู้ใหญ่ เหมาะสำหรับผู้ที่ต้องการสร้างโครงสร้างพุ่มแน่นในตู้ปลา

เติบโตช้าเมื่อเทียบกับไฮโกรทั่วไป สามารถปลูกได้ทั้งแบบมี CO₂ หรือไม่มี CO₂ ก็ได้ แต่จะให้ผลการเติบโตที่ดีที่สุดหากใช้แสงกลางถึงสูงร่วมกับ CO₂
