Cryptocoryne parva เป็นไม้น้ำขนาดเล็กที่สุดในกลุ่ม Cryptocoryne ทั้งหมด โดยมีความสูงเพียง 3-6 ซม. และความกว้างของกอประมาณ 5-8 ซม. พืชชนิดนี้มีลักษณะพิเศษคือรูปทรงและสีของใบไม่เปลี่ยนแปลงมากนักตามสภาพแวดล้อมในการเลี้ยง ทำให้สามารถรักษารูปลักษณ์ได้คงที่

Cryptocoryne parva from Sri Lanka is the smallest of all known Cryptocoryne species, growing only 3–6 cm tall with a rosette width of about 5–8 cm. It is unique among Crypts in that it retains a consistent leaf shape and color regardless of growth conditions, making it a reliable choice for aquascaping.

Due to its fine leaves that nearly disappear under water, it requires more light than most other Cryptocorynes and must not be overshadowed. It grows very slowly, but using nutrient capsules in the substrate can significantly improve development.

Plant each specimen a few centimeters apart; in about six months, they will form a compact, lush carpet, making it a highly recommended foreground plant for nano tanks and detailed aquascapes.
