Unlike its regular counterpart, this miniature version has shorter stems and denser foliage, making it an excellent choice for midground or background placement.

This plant thrives under high lighting conditions and strongly benefits from CO2 injection. Its intense red hues are best achieved with strong light and adequate iron supplementation. In lower light or without CO2, the plant may appear duller and grow leggy.
