Seachem Acid Buffer™ is a highly effective, phosphate-free buffer solution specifically designed to lower the pH in freshwater aquariums, making it more acidic. It safely adjusts the pH levels, creating an optimal environment for fish and plants that thrive in more acidic conditions, such as those found in blackwater or Amazonian setups.

This buffer can be used in combination with Seachem Alkaline Buffer™ to target specific pH levels, allowing for precise control over the water chemistry in your aquarium. It does not contribute to algae growth, making it an ideal choice for aquascapers who wish to maintain a healthy, balanced environment.

Usage Instructions:

Dosage: Add 1 teaspoon (5g) of Acid Buffer™ per 20 gallons (80 liters) of water daily until the desired pH is achieved.
Notes: For best results, use in conjunction with Seachem Alkaline Buffer™ to control pH levels. Regular monitoring of pH is recommended when using buffers to maintain a stable environment.
